    What did I learn that increased my understanding of Manaiakalani kaupapa and pedagogy?
    • Focusing on the CREATE aspect - "it's all about the hook" - engaging learners behaviourally but also cognitively
    • Focuses on forming original ideas through exploration and discovery
    • Creativity is a celebration!
    • Giving the students something to do not something to learn
    • Creative thinking is a goal in every aspect of life
    • Creators of content not just consumers
    • It's not about what you have/what things costs - it's about what you do with it
    What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow as a professional
    • Hapara tips and tricks - having groups and different folder numbers to share with families/monitor
    • YOUTUBE channel- for teachers to share videos and content
    • Media is the creative tool of the 21st century
    • Google Drawing features
    • Google Slides features (workshop with Amie)
    What did I learn that could be used with my learners?  

    • Hapara tips and tricks
    • YOUTUBE channels and playlists
    • Google Drawing features - to create a title page for their blogs or how they can add buttons/images into their work
    • Google slides - making animations, poly liners and GIFs (workshop with Amie)
    What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow in my personal life?
    • The understanding that media has the power to connect us all in a direct way
