What did I learn that increased my understanding of Manaiakalani kaupapa and pedagogy?

Need to actively show teachers the power of a digital tool for their learners.
Voice - choice - ownership: learning being exciting and engaging as if it isn't, students won't by in and complete it.
Empowering students on digital devices so they can be creators and show their voice through their digital learning.
A digitally fluent person can decide how to use digital technology in the most effective way to achieve tasks or solve problems.
In order for teachers to teach in a digital way, they need to be fluent, confident, empowered and supported
Digital technologies being used effectively can accelerate achievement outcomes
The importance of empowering students to use digital devices in this digital world.
Understanding that students need opportunities to be innovative designers and creators and that problem solving when using a digital device is an important life skill.
